Kim Joo-Won (Hyeon Bin) is the owner of a run down department store. Kil Ra-Im (Ha Ji-Won) is a female stunt woman. Osuka (Yun Sang-Hyeon) is a once popular actor now thought of as a fallen star. Min Ah Young (Yu In-Na) is Ra-Im's roommate who used to be a promising track-and field-athlete but was forced to quit her career.
"Secret Garden" takes over the SBS Saturday & Sunday 22:00 time slot previously occupied by "Life is Beautiful". "Secret Garden" had its first script reading on August 14, 2010. Filming will begin in September, 2010. Jay Park and Jang Hyuk were dropped from the list of potential casts, and Hyeon Bin was finally chosen to play the main male lead.
The drama tells the story of Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin), an arrogant and eccentric CEO who maintains the image of seeming perfection, and Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Won), a poor and humble stuntwoman whose beauty and body are the object of envy amongst top actresses. Their accidental meeting, when Joo Won mistakes Ra Im for actress Park Chae Rin, marks the beginning of a tense, bickering relationship, through which Joo Won tries to hide a growing attraction to Ra Im that both confuses and disturbs him. To complicate matters further, a strange sequence of events results in them swapping bodies.
